From Udine: from Highway A23, take exit Carnia/Tolmezzo and follow directions for Tolmezzo. Continue straight along road SS52bis (to Arta Terme/Paluzza) until the border with Austria.
From Austria: take Plockenpass Strasse (road No. 110) from the village of Kötschach-Mauthen and continue to the border with Italy.
