Remember that all excursions even the easiest ones should never be tackled alone. It is also advisable to always carry a map with the paths of the area, a torch and suitable clothing for walks on dirt roads.

It is also advisable to consult the weather predictions, especially before leaving for mountain excursions. If some sections of the itinerary are impassable, we strongly advise you not to continue.

The Friuli Venezia Giulia Region allows you to search for relics as long as they are clearly visible or are sticking out of the ground, in the limits foreseen by the current legislation (provided for by article 10 of Regional Law n.11 October 4, 2013).

Searching in the archaeological areas is prohibited and also in identified sites such as war cemeteries.

Anyone who finds relics relating to the first World War front of considerable historical or documentary value must contact the Municipality where the item is found within sixty days, (provided for by Article 9 of law 78/2001), indicating its nature, quantity and, if known, the origin.

In case of the accidental discovery of war explosives, it is strictly prohibited to touch them and they must be immediately reported to the Police (Carabinieri) (112).
