DAY 1
Arrival in Faedis
Arrival in the Faedis area
Accommodation in the following facilities of your choice:
Borc dai Cucs holiday home : a step back in time, a dream in the present. This historic holiday home, dating back to the early 19th century, welcomes guests into an elegant and refined atmosphere with designer furnishings and sophisticated details, where history and modernity blend in perfect harmony. The apartments, equipped with every comfort, include a kitchenette stocked with ingredients for preparing breakfast. Bed linens and towels are provided.
Valnascosta Guesthouse . An ancient residence located in the historic village of Faedis. Completely renovated in 2014 to offer maximum comfort to its guests, while maintaining the unique atmosphere of the past. Original stone columns, restored doors and windows, and exposed-beam ceilings give guests the feeling of living in another era, yet with all the comforts of today. It offers three rooms and one suite, equipped with all the comforts; breakfast is served in the ground-floor kitchen, which reflects the atmosphere of the residence.

2nd DAY
Authentic Flavors and Experiences
After breakfast, the day begins with an experience not to be missed: the chef at the Nove Castelli Restaurant will guide you through the secret paths of Faedis . You'll learn how to identify, harvest, and preserve wild herbs from the hills. A hands-on immersion in local herbal traditions, from theory to practice. Upon return, the harvested herbs will be the protagonists of an exclusive tasting lunch. Discover the authentic flavors that define the haute cuisine of the Friuli region. A perfect combination of pristine nature and culinary art.
During the walk, stop at a winery among historic vineyards, where the rows of vines reflect centuries of care and passion. A local producer leads guests on a guided tasting: glasses release aromas of ripe fruit and mineral notes. Among them is Refosco di Faedis, a native grape with roots stretching back two thousand years.
This is followed by a peasant lunch at the farmhouse, where each dish is a tribute to seasonality and zero-mile products, with the use of collected herbs.
Free afternoon, we suggest a walk through the woods or a visit to the small village of Costalunga, located in a panoramic position, whose houses have been renovated respecting their rural characteristics and with meticulous attention to detail.
The evening culminates with a typical dinner in a restaurant.
