Trekking guidato di 3 giorni all'Anello delle Dolomiti Friulane
Town/city Cimolais, Forni di Sopra
Description: Set off for a unique experience in the Dolomites, exploring in 3 days the fascinating Ring of the Friulian Dolomites. Among aerial ridges, unspoiled forests and breathtaking views, you will live an authentic adventure immersed in uncontaminated nature.
Accompanied by expert guides, you will discover the most suggestive places and the stories that make this corner of the Dolomites a true paradise for trekking lovers.

Programme:
Day 1- From the Giaf refuge to the Pordenone refuge: between forks and secret valleys
+ 980m | - 750m | 5h30 | 10 km
We will leave from the Giaf Refuge and we will embark on a stepped path that, between secular larches and large stones, will lead us through the majestic scree under the Forcella dei Pecoli. We will go along the imposing Cima Urtisiel, entering a suggestive gravelly gorge that we will climb with patience, until we conquer the panoramic Forcella Urtisiel: from here the world will seem to open up before our eyes.

We will start the descent between gravel and silences, and along the famous Truoi dai Sclops, we will walk on a plane and panoramic traverse to the quiet Casera Valbinon Shelter. From here, a gentle mule track will take us into the green Val Menon, between solitary pastures and the ancient traces of old dairies.

We will continue along the Val Meluzzo for about 3 km, immersed in fragrant woods and bright clearings, until you reach the hill that guards the Pordenone Refuge. We will conclude a wonderful day of crossing between the most authentic Dolomites.

We will stop for a packed lunch along the way. In the evening we will share dinner and overnight at the hut.

Day 2 - From the Pordenone refuge to the Padova refuge: under the stone cry
+ 1060m | - 1000m | 5h30 | 7.5 km
After breakfast, with our packed lunches in the backpack, we will depart for the second stage of our trek. From the Pordenone refuge we follow the path that runs along the imposing walls of the Campanile del Rifugio and Anticima Meluzzo, entering the wild Val Montanaia.

It will be a decisive climb between boulders and changes of slope, which will take us under the iconic Bell Tower of Val Montanaia, absolute symbol of the Friulian Dolomites, where silence is mixed with a sense of wonder. We will reach the Bivouac Perugini, immersed in a grandiose scenery, and we will continue until the Forcella Montanaia, a pass suspended between sky and rock.

From here we will descend between screes towards the Cadin d'Arade, and then, in an increasingly sweet and wooded environment, we will reach the Padova Refuge, where a regenerating dinner and the warmth of mountain hospitality await us.

Day 3- Return to the Giaf Refuge: the last emotion among the peaks
+ 760m | - 630m | 4h00 | 6.5 km
After breakfast, we will prepare to face the last day of this adventure. From Rifugio Padova we will enter the green Val Pra di Toro, cross the stream and climb among mughi and stones, surrounded by the cliffs of Cridola and the jagged walls of Monfalconi di Forni.

With constant pace we will reach the Forcella Scodavacca, panoramic pass set between high rock walls. After the fork, we will welcome the magnificent landscapes dominated by Torre Spinotti and Torre Antonio Berti, while we start the return into the forest.

We will follow the edge of the Giaf Stream, first along a comfortable forest path, then on a more intimate path, until we reach the Giaf Refuge again. Here, between smiles and looks that already taste of nostalgia, we will end our adventure with a convivial lunch, exchanging the last greetings and keeping in the heart the authentic beauty of the Friulian Dolomites.

Difficulty: Difficult.
This trekking is challenging, with significant differences in altitude and difficult trails that include exposed and steep passages. It is suitable for experienced and well-trained hikers who do not suffer from vertigo and are ready to face challenging challenges.
