departure for Tribil fields (meadwoods), an evocative biotope located on the border between Italy and Slovenia, offering a wide variety of outdoor activities and nature excursions. The area is highly appreciated by hikers for its well-marked trails.
Stop along the route at the Apiary of Azienda Agricola Lago in Tribil Superiore, which can be defined as one of Friuli’s hidden gems. This farm is known for its high-quality honey production and represents an example of how agricultural traditions can be integrated with sustainable and innovative practices. The apiary makes an important contribution to the conservation of local biodiversity and the promotion of Friuli’s agricultural traditions.
Continue the tour with a lunch stop at the restaurant Casa delle Rondini. This picturesque structure is located in Friuli, typical for its rural charm and harmony with the surrounding environment. The name itself recalls the swallows, symbols of home and return, suggesting a welcoming and peaceful place, perfect for an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

On the e-bike, departure for a tour in Val Judrio to discover Kolovrat mountain. It is located on the border between Italy and Slovenia and has significant historical importance, having been the scene of fierce battles during the First World War. In addition to its war history, the region around the mountain is rich in local cultures and traditions. We can find small villages and towns that offer the opportunity to discover Friuli’s art, craftsmanship, and gastronomy. Also on Monte Kolovrat, we can visit the Open-Air Museum. This museum serves as a memorial of the First World War, preserving and displaying remnants of trenches, bunkers, and other military structures that testify to the battles that took place along the Isonzo front.
