Day 1
12.9 km; difference in height of 44 m: Departure from the car park near the old track behind the last condominiums of Sella Nevea. Go up the track for a short stretch, keeping to the right, until you get onto the forest track that climbs up from the car park; continue on the track and after five hairpin bends you reach Casera Cregnedul di Sopra, where the uphill section of this excursion practically ends. Continue across the forest track (CAI path 624) and after the wood you reach Casera Larice. The road continues past the casera on a slight slope and you reach the Parte di Mezzo casere. Continuing north you reach the Di Brazzà refuge. From the refuge, return to Sella Nevea, aiming for the car park and continuing on the road open in summer that descends to Sella Nevea. Having reached the last hairpin bend at an altitude of 1206m, take the mule track which branches off to the left and which takes us to the starting point. Overnight at the Divisione Julia refuge or at Malga Montasio on the plateau.
Day 2
Ascent to Gilberti on foot 11 km with 867 m in altitude (with the possibility of using the cable car from July to September): From Rifugio Divisione Julia (1162 m) the path descends for a short stretch along the road towards Chiusaforte up to a large curve, where a cart track branches off which leads to the square below where the starting point of the new Canin cable car is located. On the right of this, skirting the square, it climbs entering a mixed wood. Leave path 645a (Serene path) on the right which leads to Casera Goriuda di Sopra. Not far beyond a second path, the 659 (Troi dai Sacs), branches off to the right, to always take us towards Casera Goriuda di Sopra. hairpin bends and stairways overcoming various but modest rock leaps always in the wood which is transforming first into larch wood and then mugheta. It then passes under the walls of Bila Pec next to the drops cave (old Di Brazzà shelter). Another path, the 632a (forming part of the "Botanical Path"), branches off to the right at an altitude of 1801m. Now proceeding over gravel, you cross the final "tooth" and enter a beautiful karst basin from which you soon reach the Gilberti-Soravito refuge (1850 m altitude). Overnight at the Gilberti refuge.

Descent by cable car and departure.
