GIT Main Beach: 2 km of Sun, Relaxation and Freedom in Grado

Welcome to the Main Beach of Grado (GIT), a magnificent stretch of golden sand fully exposed to the south. Here, the Adriatic Sea meets the hospitality of a historic institution that extends for almost two kilometres: from the vibrant heart of the town centre, through the charming Città Giardino, all the way to the edge of the “Al Bosco” beach.

Our offer includes 11 different beach areas, each designed for different needs, with services, bars and restaurants, activities, and a rich programme of events created to satisfy guests of all ages.
  • Elite Area: for those seeking maximum privacy, tranquillity and a touch of elegance
  • Family Area: spaces designed for parents and safe play areas for children, with an animation team always ready to bring smiles
  • Sport Area: for sports lovers—padel and tennis courts (upon reservation), or fun in the free-access beach volleyball, five-a-side football and basketball courts
  • Lido di Fido: our dog-friendly beach, where your four-legged friend is welcome and can enjoy the sea together with you

Wellness and Flavour at Your Umbrella

We are the only beach that integrates thermal wellness with seaside life:
  1. Marine Thermal Baths of Grado, directly connected to the beach, offering thalassotherapy treatments for a perfect balance between body and mind, a wellness path with different saunas, a fitness area with a modern gym, a Beauty SPA for aesthetics, massages and treatments, and Cryotherapy.
  2. Thermal Pool with heated seawater and a rich programme of courses, from swimming classes to physiotherapy.
  3. Food & Delivery: the best of local cuisine in our bars and restaurants. With the app, you can order your favourite dish and have it delivered directly to your umbrella.
  4. Seawater Water Park: a dive into fun for all ages, with slides and a terrace featuring a reserved whirlpool area.
