From the Main Beach to Grado Pineta, there is a large wooded area adjacent to the beach known as "
Al Bosco."
This very quiet beach, over a kilometer long and with free access, is the ideal place to relax in the cool shade of the trees. The seabed here is quite shallow, and for a good swim, you need to move away from the shore and pass the sandbanks. It is a beach much loved by families who want to enjoy some shade during the hottest hours and have a picnic.
For the most part, it is a free beach with free pedestrian access.
Before reaching the Al Bosco beach, adjacent to the 8th entrance of the main beach, there is a part of the shoreline known as La Sacca. It is a free area, with a section under concession.
