At the eastern end of the Grado Pineta area lies Al Bosco Beach, one of the most natural and peaceful stretches of the island.
Here the pine forest almost reaches the sand, providing natural shade during the hottest hours of the day and creating the perfect setting for those looking for relaxation away from the busier areas.
The beach extends for over one kilometre and is mainly characterised by wide stretches of free beach, highly appreciated by families and by visitors who enjoy a simple and informal seaside experience.
As along most of the Grado coastline, the seabed is sandy and gently sloping, with shallow water stretching for many metres – ideal for children or for long walks in the water.
Alongside the free areas, there are also a few equipped beach areas and beach resorts.
