Discovering the ancient municipality of Susans

In the life of all of us, there is a dream to realize. Sometimes, more than one. Mine was to stay in Susans Castle, which once belonged to my family and where I played as a child.

Recently, thanks to the proposal “Discovering the ancient Municipality of Susans”, I realized my dream, staying in this fantastic context, enchanted by the breath-taking view that can be enjoyed from its windows. Staying overnight in one of the two structures, the Castle of Susans or the farmhouse All’Antica Scuderia del Castello, or visiting the partner companies, you receive the map with the itinerary and points of interest to discover the authentic gems of the Susans territory.

Following the map, I discovered the centuries-old oak tree and was able to admire our wonderful king, the Tagliamento River, from a different perspective, immersed in lush nature and surrounded by unique peace and quiet. The last stop was at the Farm All’Antica Scuderia del Castello, which also includes educational visits to the olive grove, sensory experiences and tastings of the extra virgin olive oil they produce.
