From Sunday, May 31 to Tuesday, June 2, 2026, Sauris will host the second edition of “Villaggio Selvaggio”, a family festival promoted by the Rete d’Imprese Sauris-Zahre. Three days immersed in nature featuring workshops, games, sensory experiences and outdoor activities for children and parents, inspired by the motto “Explore, play, grow”.
Following the success of its first edition, the festival returns with more than 30 activities including forest explorations, creative workshops, yoga sessions, traditional games, sensory paths and talks dedicated to parenting. The initiative promotes a slower and more authentic way of experiencing the mountains, inspired by Nordic educational models where contact with nature and free play become tools for growth and connection.
Among the guests will be Virginia Copetti, educator and science communicator, who will lead activities for children and a special talk for parents. The programme also includes biodiversity workshops, woodland constructions, escape rooms, outdoor games, storytelling, music and relaxing moments for the whole family.
Throughout the festival, permanent areas such as the Forest Library, the Hay Dive, the Challenge Village and the Board Games Lounge will also be open.
Participation requires either a daily pass or a three-day pass. Visitors can also stay in partner accommodations participating in the TUReSTA in FVG bonus initiative.
