Matteo Mancuso, born in 1996, is a guitar prodigy who approached the world of music at a very young age, also thanks to the influence of his father, Vincenzo Mancuso. He enrolled in a music high school where he deepened his studies in classical guitar and founded the trio
SNIPS, with whom he released a famous version of the song The Chicken that quickly reached millions of views across social media platforms.
In 2019 he began collaborating with Yamaha Guitars, taking part in major international events such as the NAMM Showin Los Angeles and the Young Guitar Festival in Bangkok, as well as holding several masterclasses in Russia (Moscow, Saint Petersburg, and Perm).
In 2020 Matteo formed a new trio with Stefano India on bass and Giuseppe Bruno on drums. During this period he began focusing more on his compositional side, presenting his first original pieces. This marked the start of an intense live activity throughout Italy and Europe during 2021 and 2022.
On July 21, 2023, he released his first solo album, The Journey, a work that highlights his authentic and multifaceted musical identity. The release launched a new cycle of concerts with a new lineup featuring Riccardo Oliva on bass and Gianluca Pellerito on drums. The tour continued throughout 2024 with more than 50 concerts across the United States and Europe.
In 2025 he embarked on his first major international tour, performing more than 30 concerts in major cities across the United States and Canada.
In 2026 his international touring activity intensified, starting from the NAMM Show in Los Angeles. A long series of concerts sees the Sicilian guitarist performing on stages across North America and Europe to present the repertoire of his new record, Route 96, his second album featuring collaborations with artists such as Steve Vai, Antoine Boyer, and Valeriy Stepanov.
His YouTube channel is followed by a large international audience of over 300,000 subscribers. Over the years he has received praise and recognition from renowned guitarists including Steve Vai, Al Di Meola, Joe Bonamassa, and Eric Johnson.
