Trieste Organ Academy – 49th Settembre Musicale

Description

With the 49th edition of Settembre Musicale, the Accademia Organistica Tergestina continues its efforts to promote an event which, for almost half a century, has been one of the most significant fixtures in Trieste’s musical calendar. This edition serves as the ideal prelude to the prestigious milestone of the fiftieth anniversary, reaffirming the organisation’s commitment to combining its strong ties with the local area with a constant openness to the national and international scene.

THE CONCERTS 
7 September at 8.30 pm – concert by Baptiste-Florian Marle-Ouvrard (France);
14 September at 8.30 pm – concert by Daniele Dori;
21 September at 8.30 pm – concert by the KGBL Chamber Choir (Slovenia) – conducted by A. Copi;
28 September at 8.30 pm – concert by Lorenzo Cossi and Riccardo Cossi;
5 October at 8.30 pm – concert by the Trieste Civic Choir, conducted by R. Brisotto; 
 
YOUTH CONCERTS 
13 September at 4.30 pm – concert by students of the Verona Conservatoire;
20 September at 4.30 pm – concert by Alberto Gaspardo (Switzerland);
27 September at 4.30 pm – concert by students of the Conservatoires of Trento and Riva del Garda;
4 October at 4.30 pm – Lecture/Concert – ‘Il respiro del gigante" (The breath of the giant);

Guided tours (in italian): every Sunday during the festival, at 5.30 pm, we’ll take you on a tour to discover the Mascioni organ in the Cathedral
