The magic of Ennio Morricone's soundtracks comes to Trieste! An exciting journey through the masterpieces that have made cinema history, performed by Ensemble Le Muse, an all-female ensemble conducted by maestro Andrea Albertini. You will hear very special reworkings of the most famous pieces that “painted” Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns (“Once Upon a Time in the West”, “The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, ‘Duck, You Sucker’) , the magical atmospheres of ‘The Mission’, the more modern tones of “Malena” and ‘Cinema Paradiso’. We will also hear a side of Morricone that we perhaps did not expect, namely Morricone as the composer of unforgettable songs such as ‘Se Telefonando’ (made famous by Mina) and ‘Here's to You’ (sung by Joan Baez). It will be a crescendo of emotions and serene nostalgia in an intimate and dreamy atmosphere, a bit like going back a few years when cinema (and its music) was still magic.
