Three Points of view : McCurry - Majoli - Krese - Unpublished photographic stories for GO!2025.

Description

Three leading masters of contemporary photography – Steve McCurry, Alex Majoli, and Meta Krese – explore the border between Italy and Slovenia, telling the story of Gorizia and Nova Gorica through three previously unseen photographic reportages.

Their works will be the focus of an exceptional exhibition hosted at Casa Morassi (Borgo Castello, Gorizia) from October 25, 2025, to January 11, 2026, as part of the official programme for the European Capital of Culture – a title being shared for the first time by two border cities.

Coming from the United States, Italy, and Slovenia respectively, McCurry, Majoli, and Krese will offer three unique and personal perspectives on this cross-border territory. Through photography, they will explore the relationships between the two peoples, their shared and individual histories, cultural identities, differences and connections – ultimately outlining a possible vision of the future based on peace, dialogue, and fraternity.
