Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Symphony No. 41 in C major, K. 551 "Jupiter"
Production by Teatro Nuovo Giovanni da Udine
In this new event, we will explore the extraordinary figure of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: the child prodigy who grew into a restless adult, the court musician who defied authority, the man who lived by pushing every boundary in order to leave us music of unprecedented beauty.
But who was Mozart, really? How is it possible that every one of his scores sounds so effortless and perfect? What lies at the heart of his genius: supreme craftsmanship, innate talent, or something we still cannot fully define? And above all, how was he able, during the darkest years of his life—burdened by overwhelming debts, family bereavements, and an audience increasingly indifferent to his music—to compose what has come down to us as the most radiant and triumphant symphony in the history of music, known by the nickname "Jupiter"? How can one explain one of the boldest and most intricate masterpieces ever conceived, written by a man whose life was on the verge of collapse?
