LETSread - Ulysses Reading Group

Description

The Ulysses Reading Group in Trieste resumes its meetings at the LETS Museum in Piazza Hortis LETS on Friday 5 and 19 September at 5 pm and at the Hortis Library in Via Madonna del Mare on 12 and 26 September. The group is conducted in Italian and English, as well as in the Trieste dialect, in homage to Joyce's multilingual creativity and the sounds of his writing, which is polysemic, mimetic and ingenious, and which will be stimulating to tune into in order to grasp its richness and nuances.

Laura Pelaschiar, associate professor of English Literature at the University of Trieste and scientific curator of the Joyce Museum, will be the seminar leader.
