From 12 to 20 September 2026, the A.S.D. Tiro a Volo Porpetto shooting range will host the ISSF Junior World Cup Shotgun, the World Cup reserved for shooters under the age of 21. This is the second time in three years that the International Shooting Sport Federation has chosen Porpetto to host a competition of this level, following the edition held here in 2024.
The programme features five junior world titles: Junior Men’s Skeet, Junior Women’s Skeet, Junior Men’s Trap, Junior Women’s Trap and Junior Mixed Team Trap, the mixed-team event featuring one male and one female athlete.
The competitions will take place from 14 to 19 September. Skeet will open the programme on 14 and 15 September, with qualifying rounds and finals, followed by Trap on 17 and 18 September. The programme will conclude on Saturday, 19 September, with the Trap Mixed Team event, the fastest-paced and most spectacular discipline on the schedule, followed by the medal ceremonies.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, 13 September, at around 6:30 p.m., and will feature a parade of the participating delegations.
Athletes born in 2005 or later are eligible to take part in the competition. Each federation may enter up to six athletes in each individual event and up to two teams in the Mixed Team event.
