To celebrate the Year of the Horse, we’re going to transform a simple piece of cardboard into a moving work of art! This workshop will guide you through the discovery of paper automata, a perfect fusion of mechanics and design. You’ll be guided through the manual construction of a dynamic three-dimensional steed whose beating heart will be its hidden gear, a mechanism made entirely out of paper that reproduces the rhythm of a gallop. A perfect analog challenge to bring the zodiac symbol of the year to life.
