Exploding onto the Japanese literary scene in the seventeenth century but with ancient roots in Japanese literature, haikus are today written in all the languages of the world and are the subject of growing interest on the part of poets, writers and creative thinkers. This introductory workshop to haiku poetics will bring you closer to reading, writing and understanding the rules of a written form that in only 17 syllables manages to capture an instant and all its nuances in words and images.
