Description
The exhibition traces the experiences of thousands of young people who did their military service in Friuli Venezia Giulia during the Cold War, illustrating memories of military service and life in the barracks based on oral testimonies of unquestionable importance.
The exhibition will focus on the human dimension of military service in a journey that aims to offer the public an immersive and interactive experience, combining historical rigour, technology and physical involvement: the exhibition will consist of eight totems equipped with QR codes for further information, a “touch and try” installation offering a tangible experience of a soldiers' barracks, and a final documentary summarising the overall project and the exhibition itself.
Opening hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with admission included in the museum ticket. Any changes to the opening hours will be announced on the museum's communication channels.
