Exhibition: "Il colore del caso" (‘The Colour of Chance’) by photographer George Tatge

Description

Through more than 60 large-format works, the artist — already renowned for his graphically powerful black-and-white images — reveals, in the Nathan Room at Magazzino 26, his transition to colour: an inner journey that began right here on the streets of this city. The exhibition is the result of the adventurous encounter between a wandering traveller, never sated, equipped with his inseparable 13×18 cm Deardorff view camera, and natural, man-made or human-influenced elements—which are not sought out, but rather found, embraced and then captured by the artist’s attentive, profound and meditative gaze. The exhibition, curated by Carlo Sisi, is organised by the Magonza publishing house.
