PraticaMenteMusica concerts are live musical experiences created especially for young children and their families. They are not traditional concerts: music unfolds around the audience in a shared space where voices, instruments, movement and human interaction create an immersive sound environment.
The repertoire, arrangements, pacing, moments of silence, spatial layout and programme structure are all carefully designed to respect the ways in which children listen, engage and participate from the very first months of life. Inspired by Edwin E. Gordon's Music Learning Theory, these concerts bring together music education, music therapy and live performance. Conceived by Alessia Cominato and Cristina De Cillia and performed by an ensemble of musicians and teachers trained in their methodology, they offer intimate musical journeys to be experienced together—listening, moving, singing, imagining and sharing a truly special moment.
