This program brings together three masterpieces of the chamber music repertoire spanning the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. It combines Prokofiev’s neoclassical elegance, rhythmic brilliance, and lyrical cantabile with Reinecke’s evocative portrayal of the water nymph Undine, culminating in the refined French wit and elegance of Poulenc.
