10th National "Walk Among the Olive Trees" Day

Description

The National "Walk Among the Olive Trees" Day, now in its 10th year, will take place on Sunday 25th October 2026, the same date for all participating ‘Città dell’Olio’ towns.

Planned activities include walking trails, cycling or horse-riding excursions, tastings of olive oil and/or local specialities, visits to olive oil mills, mini-tours of the area, and fun and educational activities involving children, families, young people and adults. The aim of the event is to help people discover and understand olive-growing culture through an exploration of the historical, landscape and environmental aspects of their local area, with the involvement of local tourist guides, Pro Loco organisations and local associations, as well as meetings with farmers and agricultural experts.

Participation is open to everyone.

For the Municipality of Muggia, the detailed programme is currently being finalised and will be published shortly.
