Magici Intrecci 2026: Experience the Magic of Autumn at Strassoldo Castle
From 9 to 11 October 2026, Strassoldo di Sopra Castle, near Udine in northeastern Italy, will host the 55th edition of Magici Intrecci, the renowned event that for twenty-eight years has brought together fine craftsmanship, exceptional plants and local food producers in one of the most enchanting privately owned castle estates in Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Over three days, around 120 carefully selected artisans, specialist nurseries and small producers from across Italy will showcase their creations, rare plants and gourmet products along a route winding through the castle's elegant furnished rooms, centuries-old park, gardens and historic estate buildings, all beautifully decorated with unique autumn-inspired displays. The event is also the perfect opportunity to discover original handmade Christmas gifts.
Visiting Strassoldo in autumn means experiencing a unique atmosphere of colourful foliage, crystal-clear spring waters and timeless beauty. More than a traditional market, Magici Intrecci offers the chance to discover a historic estate that has been cared for by the same family for over a thousand years. Every edition actively supports the preservation and restoration of this remarkable heritage site.
