Castello di Duino

Duino Castle, dating back to the 14th century, overlooks the Gulf of Trieste.

This position allows it to be surrounded by mysterious charm, which had already captivated and enchanted the Bohemian poet Rainer Maria Rilke, who stayed at the castle, just like other famous figures in the literary and music fields. In one of his verses dedicated to Duino we can find the words "Being here is splendid...".

The setting that accompanies the impressive historical residence is well-suited to a special and romantic wedding. The bride and groom and the guests can enjoy a welcome aperitif on its bastions overlooking the sea, and then continue with the wedding reception in its various interior spaces.

The various rooms, furnished in elegant style, feature decorated ceilings, crystal glass chandeliers, antique furniture and various works of art that adorn its spaces.

The courtyard and the beautiful park can be used for wedding receptions outdoors in summer, or more simply just for a very spectacular and unusual photo shoot.
