Grado, connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of land, is an island that, wrapped around its historic centre, expresses a charming Venetian character. The fully equipped beach offers high-quality services with particular attention to the safety of younger guests: staying in Grado, beautiful in every season, means reliving the pleasures of the Habsburg aristocracy, who as early as the 19th century discovered the benefits of marine therapies and the Terme Marine here.
Today this tradition is renewed through a project that marks a new chapter: the GIT Wellness Longevity Experience, which combines thalassotherapy with the latest research on prevention and longevity, enhancing the island’s five natural elements – sea water, iodine, sand, lagoon air and sunlight – within the Sea Water Hub concept, the new identity of marine wellness in Grado.
At the heart of the Terme Marine lies thalassotherapy, which harnesses the beneficial properties of sea water to cleanse, tone and rebalance the body. Here, wellbeing begins with water: baths, aerosols, nebulisations and insufflations are combined with manual and mechanical physiotherapy treatments, while heliotherapy completes the experience with light and sea air.

Thermal Seawater Pool
Reopened in December 2025, the Thermal Pool features two pools filled with seawater, allowing guests to enjoy the benefits of the sea all year round.
One pool is dedicated to swimming. It includes a shallow area where bathers can rest without leaving the water, with the depth gradually increasing toward the opposite side. The water temperature is 31°C.
The second pool, slightly smaller in size, is heated to 32°C.
It is equipped with a coordinated hydromassage system along the pool edge and is ideal for kinesiotherapy treatments, as well as suitable for those who have not yet learned to swim.
The new course schedule, starting from January 2026, includes both group and individual water-based activities, such as: aquagym, pain-relief gymnastics, hydro-kinesitherapy, and physio Pilates.
Water Park
