On the eastern part of Lignano Sabbiadoro, there is an old recently restored lighthouse which has been for many years the reference point for boaters.
Recently, to the left of the historic lighthouse, another one was built with the same architectural characteristics and much more forward to the sea thanks to a long wooden walkway, which has become a suggestive panoramic point where you can observe the waters of Marano lagoon and the Adriatic Sea.
On Summer Solstice day on June 21 at the Red Lighthouse the dawn concert takes place, sitting on the sand you can listen to the performance of a string orchestra that performs while the sun rises over the sea.
