The whole world of animals in an oasis on the Tagliamento river!
The Parco Zoo Punta Verde in Lignano Sabbiadoro winds along the banks of the Tagliamento river, in a fascinating ecological and natural environment.
Here you'll be able to spend exciting hours in contact with nature, just a step away from ferocious creatures such as lions or tigers or adorable zebras and giraffes. 1,000 specimens of 150 different species, from all over the planet, well cared for, looked after and spoilt. There are over 70 different habitats, each created according to the needs of the individual species, where the animals live and reproduce.
Perfect organisation: together with the safety provided by enthusiastic, expert staff, the park offers visitors all conveniences, from parking to a bar-restaurant.
To make the visit truly unique, you can book Close Encounters with certain animal species such as lemurs, red pandas, sloths, kangaroos, Seychelles tortoises, and giraffes—an opportunity to get to know the animals up close and feel like an active participant in protecting Nature. Alternatively, you can join the free Keeper Talks to learn fun facts about the animals directly from their keepers.
Another unique experience is the Twilight Walk, an exclusive guided tour for small groups after the Zoo has closed, allowing you to enjoy fascinating animals that are most active during the evening and nighttime hours.
