Very close to the beach in Lignano Pineta you can find the
Parco del Mare. A wide green area where to enjoy long and pleasant walks in the middle of the nature by the pine forest. There are
different play areas, like the "
Gommosi", an inflatable playground, a realm of fun for all kids.
You can combine nature and culture visiting the park thanks to the
works on display by the sculptors Simon Benetton, Luciano Ceschia and all the artists who took part from 2001 to 2010 at the 10 editions
of the "International Symposium of Aurisina Stone Sculpture ". The sculptures in the park have given an important cultural resource for the city of Lignano.
