During your holidays in
Lignano Sabbiadoro you cannot miss a visit to the most famous park in the town, the
Hemingway park, named after the writer who spent several times in Lignano. The Hemingway park is like a green oasis, perfect for a walk, a ride along the cycle paths, running or just to enjoy relaxation and fun with your kids. In the park there is an area for outdoor shows, with an arena and stage, all in harmony with the surrounding green and natural environment. The large park has
many playgrounds and during the hottest hours it is the right place to stay with kids in the shade of maritime pines.
Inside the park there is a
permanent photo exhibition in memory of the writer, together with some writings on his life.
In the beginning of the summer season, the Park hosts the Lignano Flower Festival (Festa dei Fiori), the most colourful and fragrant festival in Lignano.
