Banana Bread Water Sports is a water sports centre that promotes the culture of the sea and water sports such as swimming, windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, surfing and stand up paddleboarding (SUP).
Since 2021, it has been recognized by the VDWS (International training association for water sports), and its instructors are authorized to issue certificates that recognize the level achieved during the courses.
The licence issued at the end of the course is internationally recognized and allows you to rent windsurfing equipment anywhere in the world.
The center is located on the beach at Office 19 and Office 13 Lido City of Lignano Sabbiadoro.
SWIMMING COURSES: Held in the sea, dedicated to beginners or those who want to refine their technique, suitable for both children and adults.
WINDSURFING COURSES: In just a few lessons, you' ll easily learn how to sail and have fun with the wind and waves. Soon, you won't be able to do without this wonderful sport!
Group and individual courses are offered, for beginners and advanced students; children can participate from the age of 6. Experienced individuals can rent the equipment.
SUP and SUP XXL LESSONS: For those who want to share the experience of paddling on the waves with friends or family, either on a single board or wiht the SUP XXL board, which holds 8/10 people.
KITESURFING COURSE: Individual kitesurfing lessons to help you learn easily, so you can soon start enjoying this fantastic sport soon, in a unique setting surrounded by beautiful colourful sails!
The instructors are certified by IKO and/or VDWS .
SAILING COURSE: The course includes individual or paired lessons, for children and adults, starting from the age of 10. Swimming skills are required.
ADVENTURE EXPERIENCE COURSES:
Why not try practicing SUP, WINDSURFING AND KITESURFING in breathtaking spots, such as the lagoon, the islands in front of Lignano, or canals immersed in nature?
Based on the chosen experience, we will select the ideal spot from those proposed, always considering the marine weather forecast.
How will we reach the ideal spot? We will pick you up directly from the beach with our boat and you will be accompanied by our qualified instructors, who hold both a nautical licence and a sea rescue licence, to ensure maximum saftey during all activities!
New - BANANA MIXED EXPERIENCE COURSE: A 5 mini-exploratory course of 5 lessons (1-hour each), where kids can try activities such as Windsurfing, SUP, and SUP XXL.
Upon request, you can also try wakeboarding (water snowboarding).
The center provides all the necessary equipment for students, so you only need to bring your swimsuit and sunscreen.
