Coming from Sauris di Sopra, near the arrival of the ski lift, at the beginning of the road leading to Mount Ruke you descend to the right, where the road continues in a south-easterly direction. You pass a stavolo, where the road turns into a path to enter a beautiful spruce forest (mountain spruce). A cleverly traced descent leads to the bed of the Lumiei Stream, which forks into a spectacular gorge here. It joins Trail 1D, which leads to the lake.
