It starts from Campiolo following CAI path 417, which accompanies you along the Glagnò stream through forest and emerald-colored pools of water. After a small bridge, the trail leaves the stream and begins to gain elevation with a regular gradient until it reaches the hamlet.
Stavoli presents itself as a small group of stone houses, now uninhabited, that directly tell the story of life in the past, made up of mountain pasture, isolation and adaptation to the mountains. Exploring its narrow lanes and wide meadows of the surroundings means crossing a piece of the history of the area.
Despite the absence of permanent inhabitants, the hamlet is still alive: the association "Friends of Stavoli" takes care of this little corner of paradise and during the summer keeps a kiosk open, creating a meeting point for those who climb up here. In addition, every year the Island of Stavoli event comes to life, bringing people, activities and new stories back among these houses.
