Long but definitely satisfying hike to the panoramic summit of Monte Borgà, starting from the Rifugio Cava Buscada.
From the Rifugio Cava Buscada (1190 m) continue beyond the panoramic terrace; a path leads us, with gentle ups and downs along the hillside meadows, to the junction at altitude 1685 m (from here the normal route to Monte Borgà, which starts in Erto, rises). At the junction take path 372 going steeply up (signs for the Libri San Daniele) until reaching the ruins of Caserà Borgà (1940 m). From the ruins, follow the ridge on the right side of the large basin, always keeping an eye on the clear white and red markers; this leads to a panoramic saddle (2180 m), with beautiful view to the north. Now turn right, and in ten easy minutes, on a clear path, reach the cross and summit logbook of Monte Borgà (2228 m), definitely panoramic.
Once you have reached Monte Borgà and returned, on the way back at the panoramic saddle, you can continue along the easy grassy ridges to reach the Libri di San Daniele, a curious geological formation and natural complement to the Borgà hike.

Derived from the technical difficulty and the stamina requirements.
To do this hike at a relaxed pace, it is advisable to sleep at Rifugio Cava Buscada, from which you enjoy a spectacular view of Duranno. This way we can do the ascent of Borgà calmly: to the hike add only the 610 meters of descent from Cava Buscada to the parking lot at Stei de Conte locality (near Casera Mela).
