Returning to trail 3A, at the junction for Malga Gerona, we continue to the right on a well-preserved cartroad that bypasses the southern slope of the Val Boaria and Novarzamountains (2024 m. asl.), crossing alternating nardus, alder groves and heaths. At the bottom of the steep slope below, also covered by beautiful fir forests, flows the Novarza stream. From the path you can glimpse, on the opposite side, the Casere Campo and Veltri, now inactive. After a few kilometers on a slight ascent, suddenly after a bend, the majestic meadow amphitheater opens up at the center of which stand the buildings of Malga and Rifugio Losa.
