From Cimolais (651 m) continue up the Val Cimoliana on the paved road alongside the Cimoliana stream. After 13 km you reach Pian Meluzzo; at the fork for the Val Meluzzo, continue on the paved road to the left until you reach a parking area from where the trail starts that in a few minutes (10) leads to the rifugio located between Val Montanaia and Val Meluzzo, at the foot of Cima Meluzzo.
