The
Club Gommone of Trieste is situated on the embankment of
Barcola a few miles from the center of
Trieste. It is an amateur company founded in 1979 whose main activity is yachting.
The Club organizes, raids, cruises, rallies and nautical camping, by respecting the sea, the environment and navigation rules. The excursions organized include the shores of our region, Veneto and the bordering Slovenian and Croatian coasts.
The naval base has a beachfront of 120 meters with a green area and base devoted to social activities;
it has a large slide for launching and hauling with various docks.
