Leaving the car in the parking lot, take the road in front of the Dorfarpeck bakery, crossing the old Borgata di Granvilla, and continue along the forest road that climbs to Monte Ferro. After the last characteristic dwelling you can put on your snowshoes and comfortably ascend along the ski slope.
Crossing the snow-covered meadows of Monte Ferro, from which you can make out the characteristic outline of the Refuge, continue the hike until you reach it.
From the terrace of the Hut you will enjoy a wonderful view of the Sappada valley. To reach your destination, continue further along the ski slope that will lead you to the arrival station of the Sasso Alto ski lift. The return is planned along the same route.
