Park the car in the square in front of the former “Caserma Fasil” and continue in the direction of Cima Sappada, cross the bridge and turn left, climbing for about 200 meters. When you reach the top of the climb, turn left and continue towards the charming Borgata Ecche.
From the pretty hamlet, on the right, take the marked path. After about 500 meters, when you reach the first hairpin bend, turn right and you will come near a small ford. Continue your excursion along the newly constructed forest road. Following it you will reach the provincial road, closed to traffic in the winter period, which leads to the Sorgenti del Piave.
We recommend that you continue along the road to the Baita Rododendro, which is also open in winter. For the return you can take the same route as the outward journey, or follow the signs to Cima Sappada.
The route is simple, suitable for adults and children.
