Snowshoeing to Casera Tuglia

Where: Forni Avoltri – Località biathlon

Parking: at the Biathlon Center
Starting point: Biathlon center, 1,040 hslm
Arrival point: Casera Tuglia, 1,597 hslm

From the Biathlon Center you start your hike by taking the forest road, which starts from the parking lot and gradually climbs westward until it crosses the forest track, near the “Cleva” locality. This progresses with wide switchbacks up to an elevation of about 1,500 meters where we also find the junction with trail No. 32, which comes from Cima Sappada. From here the trail runs almost flat to the clearing around Casera Tuglia, from which you can enjoy a splendid view of the Sappada valley.
