An itinerary to be followed with snowshoes to admire the spectacular beauty of the Lake of Sauris and discover woods in unspoilt nature.
Departure: in Sauris di Sopra, from the parking area of the ski runs.
In
Sauris di Sopra there is a panoramic route that from
Mount Ruke leads to
Mount Cavallo, during which you will enjoy
breathtaking views over the
Carnic Alps and over the
Lake of Sauris. You will also have the opportunity to enter the woods and watch the tracks left by the animals that live in them or see the signs left by man in his ancient relationship with the mountains.
From the parking area of the ski runs of Sauris di Sopra, you can start the snowshoe walk along the ridge of Mount Ruke,walking along the
forest trail up to the stavoli Beinte, a spectacular view of Lake of Sauris.
The tour lasts approximately three hours and, at the end, you will have the chance to relax at the Monte Ruke farm restaurant, tasting the typical regional dishes.
