Duration: 3 hours
Distance: 3.5 km

CHARACTERISTICS:
Although near the ski lifts of Piancavallo, this itinerary features rather deserted and wild stretches. It essentially stretches always outside the wood with a remarkable variety of beautiful views. Following the southern side may be a problem due to little snow.

Near the roundabout at the entrance of Piancavallo, turn into the road that in summer leads to the Baracca del Sauc. Leaving it to the left, you will get to the Casera Campo hut, from which you will go up the slopes northwards, getting to the col between Mount Sauc and Col Cornier. Follow the side of the mountain to the top.
