CHARACTERISTICS:
An itinerary that follows first the track in the wood, which with various hairpin bends leads to the Grego Alpine hut, then reaches the Sompdogna saddle and, finally, the Casera hut. The route stretches mostly across the wood, therefore with rather limited views. However, above the Grego Alpine hut, the view opens out and is dominated by the imposing massif of Jof Fuart.
From the car park follow the track through the wood westwards until getting to the fork of path no. 611, which allows to reach the Grego Alpine hut more quickly. Proceed to the Sompdogna saddle and then towards the Casera hut that stands on the southern side of the Jof di Miezegnot.
Go back along the same route.
