From January 1, 2022, pursuant to Article 30 of Legislative Decree no. 40/2021, the customer who uses the alpine ski runs must have a valid insurance that covers civil liability for damage or accidents caused to third parties.
PromoTurismoFVG, on request, offers an insurance policy for civil liability together with the skipass, to cover damage caused to people or things. Please note that as far as foreigners are concerned, policies (both daily and annual) are only valid on Italian territory and not abroad.
The Snowcare insurance policy, valid for one or more days (€3.50/day), protects you and yourself, as well as others; it is designed for all skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, amateurs and competitors, alone or in groups, as well as for children.
Snowcare covers you in case of civil liability - compensating for damages you may unintentionally cause to third parties during sports activities - and in case of injury. It also guarantees reimbursement for medical and rescue expenses in the event of an accident.
If you link the insurance to your name by scanning the QR code provided at the ticket office, you can activate the extra coverage free of charge, including cancellation of ski pass, lessons and equipment rental in case of injury or illness, as well as medical repatriation.
Multisport Multisport is the insurance product that can be linked to your seasonal ski pass. Valid for one year and covering all sports worldwide, it protects you and also provides coverage for any damage you may cause to others while practising any sport.
In addition to third-party liability coverage, it reimburses emergency medical expenses, as well as the cost of season passes, lessons, and sports equipment rentals that you are unable to use due to an injury. In the event of a rescue operation, search and recovery costs, including helicopter assistance, are also covered.
You can purchase the policy at the ticket office together with your seasonal ski pass or online, as described below.
Two options are available:
Multisport Individual: €49 per year for one person
Multisport Family: €99 per year for the entire family
Coverage exclusions apply only to mountaineering above 6,000 metres, bobsleigh, skeleton, hunting dangerous animals, caving (speleology), and aerial or motor sports.

The insurance policy is valid exclusively in the event of intervention by the ski patrol and/or law enforcement at the location of the incident. Keep both the ski pass and the purchase receipt, as they serve as proof of coverage purchase.
*It is announced that the Multisport insurance purchased online has an automatic renewal clause, while if it is bought together with the ski pass at a ticket office, it is exempt.
