Piancavallo MTB Collalto Trail

MTB COLLALTO TRAIL – Mountain Bike Loops

Piancavallo is an ideal location for bicycle enthusiasts who like to plan their excursions on dirt tracks or scenic roads that are surrounded by magnificent vistas and stunning lanscapes. In the summer, the winter cross-country ski trails in the Collalto–Roncjade area, are transformed into three different MTB loops suitable for all proficiency levels and specifically designed for mountain bikes or e-bikes. Here you can try in your hand at diving into the beech forest steering your bike over, for an adventure in the heart of nature.

Distance: 2,5 km
Time: circa 30 minutes
Elevation difference: about 50 mt
Ground: 100% dirt road
Technical difficulty: easy

Loop M (Medium)
Distance: 7 km
Time: about 1 hour
Elevation difference: about 170 mt
Ground: 100% dirt road
Technical difficulty: medium

Loop L (Long)
Distance: 9,5 km
Time: about 2 hours
Elevation difference: about 250 mt
Ground: 100% dirt road

THE DECALOGUE OF THE GOOD MOUNTAIN BIKER

1. MTB COLLALTO TRAIL is an unattended open area. The signs installed along the routes only indicate the direction to follow and have no other purpose.
2. This area is recommended for people with good riding technique, ability, dexterity and physical preparation.
3. It is recommended to follow the directional signs for the loop best suited to your ability.
4. The use of a helmet, gloves and glasses is recommended.
5. To protect your own and other’s safety, it is recommended to maintain a controlled speed in relation to your technical and physical abilities, the pre sence of hikers and any difficulties that the route may present.
6. It is recommended to maintain an adequate safety distance from other bikers.
7. It is recommended to pay maximum attention to weather conditions and the state of the ground which can be different from area to area and can change suddenly in case of rainfall and other atmospheric phenomena.
8. It is forbidden to damage and/or tamper with the signs and cause any kind of damage.
9. It is good practice to respect the environment and not abandon waste.
