A beautiful, narrow cut, located on the long ridge from monte Lastroni that pushes as far as monte Mount Righile, right next to the eastern ridge of the latter, connecting the Olbe plateau with the val Visdende and the val Sesis. It is the highest of the forks in the area of Sappada.

One of the most popular destinations for those who would like to visit the lakes of Olbe and still want to walk a little to reach a very unusual and striking spot. Absolutely, because from up there the view is just fantastic, the altitude giving the impression of being in a world of mountains as superb views open towards the Peralba and the Chiadènis-Avanza group north to the Olbe lakes, the Clap, the Siera, Creta Forata and Cimon to the south. The path is short and in full sun. In addition you can still see many remains from the First World War, especially if, having arrived just below the pass, you turn right (east) by taking a track that leads to a small, slightly lower saddle (the forcella Righile) where there are spectacular emplacements, walkways, etc. Not to be missed!
