"Laghetto" Slope

The 'Laghetto' slope at Passo Pramollo in the municipality of Pontebba, located at an altitude of 1,530 metres, guarantees natural snow from December to April. The slope is suitable for both beginners and the most demanding cross-country skiers, is managed by the G.S.D. Val Gleris and can be used free of charge. As you walk along the track, you can admire the beautiful snow-covered peaks that separate Italy from Austria.

The start, located right next to the pass, runs along the lake shore, which it follows until it touches the old border with Austria and the downhill slopes of the Austrian pole. Uphill and downhill sections quickly alternate one after the other, immersing the cross-country skier in the fir forests.

HOW TO GET THERE
From the Pontebba exit of the A23 Palmanova-Tarvisio motorway, follow the signs for Passo Pramollo; once you reach the pass, before crossing the border, the track begins on the left at Albergo Wulfenia (da Livio).
