From the parking lot at Pian de C&ea cute;a, one enters along the wide, gently sloping gravelly valley of the Grave da Giere at the end of which is the Casera Podestine shelter. Leaving the casera on the left, we continue following the signs for Casera Caserata, to take the path that breaks away from the valley floor to climb the slope characterized by a magnificent beech forest, and then leave it and cross some detrital gullies, and finally reach Casera Caserata, located just downstream of the homonymous fork. From the casera you head to the fork, and here you leave the marked trail to follow the unmarked path that climbs in a southerly direction, to enter a mixed forest of firs and larches. At the 'exit of the forest you meet the ruins of the Casera Dosaip. We now continue through shrubs, small larches and outcropping rocks, where the trail becomes confused with that of the wild animals that frequent the high-altitude grasslands. Continuing uphill, you reach a hump that, once overcome, allows you to descend to Ciadìn del Dosaip, in the bottom of which there is the opening of a vertical sinkhole of karst origin. It continues among coarse debris alternating with sloping meadows, maintaining the altitude with respect to the bottom of the bowl, and then ascends along the steep terminal slope to the summit.
Il punto di partenza è il Pian de Cea che si trova a 7 km da Claut. Si deve raggiungere la frazione di Lesis e proseguire lungo la “Strada degli Alpini” (a pagamento nel periodo estivo).
