The doge’s complex of
Villa Manin in
Passariano is one of the most significant artistic monuments in Friuli Venezia Giulia, and one of the best-known symbols of tourism and regional culture.
Construction began in the
second half of the 1600s, but it owes its current appearance to the 18th-century renovation work. The Baroque chapel of S. Andrea is also part of the doge’s complex.
The villa includes an
18-hectare monumental park which preserves centuries-old trees and allegorical statues.
The doge’s complex has two rooms, the
conference room has 90 seats, two stalls for people with disabilities and a five-seat speaker’s table on the podium.
The smaller meeting room has 90 seats and a three-seat speaker’s table.
